The Lagos Dance Gathering 2017

The Lagos Dance Gathering is a contemporary dance festival in Lagos, Nigeria. Qudus Onikeku, the Creative Director of the QDance Center created it with the main goal of showcasing the diversity and excellence of contemporary dance in Africa. The festival, which is a unique annual event, gives emerging choreographers and art directors an opportunity to be discovered and mentored by a diverse range of professional contemporary dancers, who have established themselves in the field.

The festival also offers these dancers a professional environment where they can hone their skills during the two-week intensive training, which will then end with a three-day contemporary dance programme.
