Runway Jazz Concert 2017
From April 29 – 30, 2017, Sweet Sound Production in conjunction with Lagos State Government will present Runway Jazz Concert at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, as one of the line-ups for the commemoration of Lagos @ 50. The event, themed Promoting Peace, Unity and Dialogue Through Art, is a fusion of fashion and Jazz performances, which also coincides with the international Jazz Day.
The two day event will commence with the Music and Business Master Class, Runway Jazz Concert, and haute couture from Jewel by Lisa, a runway show that captures the evolution of Lagos over the last five decades. The Runway Jazz Concert is expected to be the biggest and most unique music and fashion event to hit the Nigerian entertainment scene.
Artistes billed to perform at the event includes Grammy award winners; American Saxophonist, Najee and UK Singer as well as songwriter, Joss Stone, Nigeria’s finest entertainers; Dede Mabiaku (the afrobeat musician and protégée of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who will perform some of the evergreen songs of the music legend), Waje, Yinka Davies, Heavywind, Tosin Alao, Sweet Sound, as well as Xerona Duke and host band.
