From Friday 26-28, 2016, Lagos will play host to a weekend of concerts, screenings, symposia and discussions themed New Horizons: Resistance and Revelation, a brand new concert series in Lagos featuring celebrated musicians Tunde Jegede, Nneka, and Keziah Jones.

New Horizons is an initiative of Tunde Jegede, composer and Artistic Director of the MUSON Centre.

Events lined up are: a solo concert with Tunde Jegede and special guests at MILIKI Club on Friday from 7pm; a film screening and discussion led by Ed Keazor with Nneka, Keziah Jones and Tunde Jegede at The Nigerian Film Corporation on Saturday at 2pm, and a finale at the MUSON Centre on Sunday from 6pm featuring Nneka, Keziah Jones, Tunde Jegede, the art Ensemble of Lagos and the MUSON Ensemble.

Ladun Ogidan is the Deputy Editor of Omenka Africa’s first art, business and luxury- lifestyle magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Nigeria. Ogidan is also Operations Manager at the Omenka Gallery, and Chief Operating Officer at Revilo Company Limited, a leading art publishing company in Lagos. She has co-ordinated several exhibitions at home and abroad.


  1. I think this is a very brilliant collaboration. I have seen Jegede playing the Cora and Keziah Jones on stage. The line up of event is cool and Lagosian should just be a part of this experience;the film screening for the Black History Month, music etc.
