Lagos International Poetry Festival 2015

The first international poetry festival ever to take place in West Africa is happening just outside our doorstep. Names like Efe Paul, Titilope Sonuga, Donna, Lola Shoneyin, Warsan Shire and so many more will be leading workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions and more.
If you have even the smallest love of poetry and spoken word, you can’t afford to miss this festival. Learn more about the exotic art, meet fellow poetry lovers, have a conversation with your poetry icons.
The festival will take place over the course of a week from the October 28 to November 1, 2015. Most of the programmes will be at Freedom Park, Broad Street, Lagos Island. The theme of the Lagos International Poetry Festival 2015 is Borderless Words with emphasis on poetry’s capacity to bridge racial, ethnic, gender, language and cultural divides, and the imperative of creative collaborations on the continent.
The festival has been arranged in such a way that you can select what programme you want to attend, if you can’t be there for the entire week.
See you there!

I do agree with all the concepts you’ve introduced on your post. They are really convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too brief for newbies. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.
