Introducing Fun Size Events at #EatDrinkFestival
For 2018, #EatDrinkFestival returns with many of its well known elements including a daily roster of 85 amazing vendors serving up a wide variety of food and drink. The best thing about the festival being two days is the fact that it has new sets of vendors both days of the event. This year’s edition will also add four smaller experiences called Fun Size Events.
#EatDrinkFestival is an outdoor event with many vendors, but for those who are overwhelmed by choice and would prefer to have at least one curated experience at the event, Fun Size Events are the ideal choices for them. Think of it as a pop up within #EatDrinkFestival. These little pop-ups are designed for people looking for something less rowdy at the festival.
Eat.Drink.Lagos has now revealed the four acts that will be making up the Fun Size Events this year. Each day, the Fun Size Experience tent will host two events: an afternoon event and a dinner one.
The festival will open on December 26 with a pop-up by Chef Imoteda. She is reprising her Limitless Brunch and has created an all you can eat brunch menu that includes bottomless mimosas and zobotinis. Also on Wednesday, Kewa’s Kitchen will be serving up a hearty 3-course dinner that includes braised oxtail and mashed potatoes.
On Thursday, December 27, the lunch session will feature the dynamic duo behind The AJ’s, and finally, Chef SiA will bring #EatDrinkFestival to a close with a 6-course dinner with wine pairings (mocktails for the non-alcohol drinkers) also on Thursday.
In addition to Fun Size Events, one can also expect to see 85 food vendors, a culinary stage, drinks theatre and some entertainment.
Tickets are on sale at eatdrinkfestival.com/tickets.
