Chi Modu’s UNCATEGORIZED comes to Lagos

From December 1 to 2, 2018 Nigerian-American photographer and documentarian Chi Modu will for the first time in Lagos exhibit his project UNCATEGORIZED on Budweiser’s music platform BUDX, which celebrates emerging artists through workshops, DJ master classes, music panels and screenings.
Chi Modu is the powerhouse behind hip-hop’s golden era, and is known for the portraits of Tupac Shukar and Biggie WTC standing in front of the World Trade Towers.
BUDX Lagos will be curated by Melanin Unscripted, created by photographer, documentarian and writer, Amarachi Nwosu.
The two-day series will consist of a masterclass and workshop, with an interesting line up of celebrated artistes such as;
MI, Naeto C, POE, Dremo, Dice Ailes, Ghanaian Kwesi Authur,Aye, Smallz, DJ Yin, DJ Wayne, Ill Bliss, Dice Ailes and Show Dem Camp. It will also feature the Nigerian-based multimedia production firm Aje Films, as well as photographer August Udoh, who will both be sharing their thoughts as panellists.
