It has expanded its focus to include content on architecture and design, with a renewed commitment to an emerging Art Finance industry in Africa. The magazine is published as a quarterly print, a digital edition and an app. Through its well tailored content, Omenka aims to position Africa as the hub of an increasingly globalized world by stimulating interest in art from the continent as an asset class, while cultivating taste and defining emerging trends in contemporary visual culture, among a new generation in contemporary visual culture, among a new generation of urban thinkers, collectors and enthusiasts.

Oliver Enwonwu

Publisher & Editor

Oliver Enwonwu is founder and Editor-in-Chief of Omenka magazine, Director, Omenka Gallery and Chief Executive, Revilo. He holds a first degree in Biochemistry, advanced diploma in Exploration Geophysics (distinction), Post Graduate Diplomas in Applied Geophysics and Visual Art (distinction) and a Masters in Art History, all from the University of Lagos. He is the founder, Executive Director, and trustee of The Ben Enwonwu Foundation, as well as President of the Society of Nigerian Artists. He serves on the boards of the National Gallery of Art, Nigeria and the Reproduction Rights Society of Nigeria.

Ladun Ogidan

Deputy Editor

Ladun Ogidan is the Deputy Editor of Omenka magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Nigeria. Ogidan is also Assistant Curator at the Omenka Gallery, and Chief Operating Officer at Revilo Company Limited, a leading art publishing company in Lagos. She has co-ordinated several exhibitions at home and abroad.

Oyinkan Braithwaite


Oyinkan Braithwaite is a graduate of Creative Writing and Law from Kingston University. Following her degree, she worked as an assistant editor at Kachifo and has been freelancing as a writer and editor since. Her work has been published in anthologies. She also has self-published work and in 2014, was shortlisted as a top ten spoken word artist in the Eko Poetry Slam.

Adebimpe Adebambo

Business Development Officer

Adebimpe Adebambo is the Business Development Officer at Revilo, an art and culture publishing company. She studied Painting at the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. Adebambo is also a fashion and accessories designer, and her work is concerned with environmental sustainability and recycling.
She debuted as a costume designer on Tunde Kelani's award-winning film Dazzling Mirage, garnering for her efforts, 2 nominations in 2015 for an Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Award and an African Movie Academy Award for Best Costume Designer and Achievement in Costume Design, respectively. Adebimpe Adebambo loves to write and is presently working on a storybook.
